KML Occupational Health provides a bespoke service. We undertake all our activities using the very latest specialist equipment that meets the highest standards and compliance for HSE categorisation on specifications. Our technology is used to ensure accuracy, portability, usability and visual aids for the best patient and client experiences.

KML OH provides a number of different service delivery options to maximise accessibility and flexibility.

Wellbeing

Wellbeing encompasses all that we do as KML Occupational Health take care of you and your employees physical and mental health. Most experts agree that our state of mental health is reflected in our physical health. The same can be said about our physical health. If for example we are suffering with back pain, this can drain us mentally and leave us exhausted.

Taking a holistic approach to health makes sense and looks at the individual as a whole. This is often referred to as wellbeing.

Our Occupational Health Team take care of both mental and physical matters, but wrap wellbeing around these.

To deliver solutions to specific matters we partner with a number of audited and approved wellbeing providers that cover the following services to compliment those delivered by our own staff at our clinics, at your offices or at the employees’ home:


Health Surveillance

Health surveillance is a system of ongoing health checks designed to detect and monitor signs of employees work related ill health, these health checks may be required by law for employees, operatives, agency staff or subcontractors who are exposed to:


Medicals

KML Occupational Health provides medicals which reflect and support your business including any specific set of requirements. We already provide industry approved and recognised medicals.In addition to these medicals we can accommodate any new requirements and provide a medical to include a series of assessments for your compliance.


Case Management

An occupational health assessment is an independent clinical assessment that provides the employer with an unbiased opinion on an employee’s fitness for work.


Fitness for work

A Fitness for Work Assessment can be carried out prior to or after role commencement. An employees physical and mental health is checked during this process.


Drug & Alcohol Tests

KML provide alcohol and drugs tests for both illegal and prescribed. These tests can be planned, random and on call-out 24/7/365. Call out is within 2 hours.


Paramedic Services

KML provide on-site Paramedic Services to clients in high risk industries. An onsite Paramedic provides emergency first aid, to reduce onsite emergency response times and also delivers all occupational health services including medicals and drug & alcohol testing.

This service is often provided in industries such as demolition, energy and construction. This presence during working hours can reduce insurance risk and costs. Our paramedics also work with the on-site health and safety teams to provide advice and guidance.

The medics also perform inspections and training.
