Health surveillance is a system of ongoing health checks designed to detect and monitor signs of employees work related ill health. These health checks may be required by law for employees, operatives, agency staff or subcontractors who are exposed to:
Workplace medicals are provided by KML Occupational Health. These include those for employees in safety critical roles.
We also deliver medicals for those in desk based and other job functions. Medicals are delivered to industry and SEQOHS standards.
In addition to these medicals we provide those tailored for your workers and industry requirements.
As a provider to the rail industry, we are RISQS accredited.
Case Management covers long-term and sporadic sickness absence. These assessments are completed by an OH Nurse.
Following the assessments, we provide both parties with an unbiased report.
These reports are used by HR and Managers to manage absence cases.
Fitness for Work Assessments are carried out prior to or after role commencement. An employees physical and mental health is checked during this process.
KML provide alcohol and drugs tests for both illegal and prescribed. These tests can be planned, random and on call-out 24/7/365. Call out is within 2 hours.
